  This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had when filing taxes. It took over 2 hours to file a standard return. I have been to other H&R Blocks where I have had pleasant experiences. I would not recommend filing taxes through THIS H&R Block.

  We depended on H&R Block, who advertise themselves as full-service small business tax advisers, to tell us what to file and pay for our business taxes. They neglected to prepare and submit all the appropriate forms and payments our business should have submitted. We now have a bill with fines for over $4,000 from the State. H&R Block refuses to take responsibility and reimburse, saying we should have known about that form they forgot. That's the whole point of going to H&R Block -- for them to tell us everything we need to do. They've left me holding the bag for thousands and thousands of dollars.

  Owner is extremely rude, and has no knowledge of how tax preparation works for someone who travels often... if you have more than one state return DO NOT GO TO H&R BLOCK! They cost me $3000.00 in 2014 due to their inexperience. Thankfully I caught it this year, and am able to have it amended. Although, It's again out of my pocket... i called to speak with the owner about amending it for free (as they claim they stand behind their work) and she wouldn't even look at my return... she told me they were right and to "go somewhere else". Save yourself some grief and money and find a competent tax preparation service.
